About Me

The power of words cannot be mistaken. Words are my inspiration, and my name is Smita Dwivedi. I am en-route to perfecting my dream of becoming a journalist through my master’s degree program in Journalism.

Nothing interests me more than viewing the world through innocent eyes of a child.

In 2003, I worked in India to plan and direct content for advertisements. I have worked with brands like Amway, Nestle India, Cadbury, MetLife, and CRY to name a few. It was during my time working on advertisements for CRY and Cadbury I deciphered and pondered the fascinating world of children. The simple complexity of this topic fascinated me completely.

Now

Twelve years down the line, I am a Journalism student and mom to a 5-year-old. Each day I struggle to find out what is that one right way to be the perfect parent.

I am always on a look out for articles on parenting, behavioral issues in children, making that nutritious wholesome meal for children, vaccination facts, and myths, alternative medicines and the list goes on.

I am not alone in the boat and there are more like me out there. Therefore, I have decided to create a journalism blog where I can reach out to moms like me struggling to find out and do the right thing for their child. I invite you to come and join me to explore this beautiful yet immensely challenging world of these little Angels!

“Parents are the ultimate role models for children. Every word, movement and action has an effect. No other person or outside force has a greater influence on a child than the parent.”
